M/V UNIVERSAL MK 2010 ( FBM Marine Tricat 45M Gas Turbine Class). I worked on the original Tricats in FBM s yard in Cowes on the Isle of Wight in England some 20 plus years ago they were ahead of there time back then and designed in house the company was bought by a Chinese owner who went on to open a yard in the Philippines to build them cheaper key staff went out to set up and teach local labour. He then shut down the Cowes yard shortly after only keeping the design areas in Southampton UK. They were built to take people from Hong Kong to macua China to the gambling casinos. FBM was the largest ship yard on the island at that time employing about a 180 to 200 staff they also built mod defense craft and RNLI life boats like Tynes, Merseys and Severn's.
