1931 ford model AA truck will work and last after more than 30 years this old model AA has been in a barn for the past 30 years and the former owners clean it up nicely with a little work to get the old truck to scrap yard and crush it had to save it from the breaker. It reminded me that despite all the trash going on in the world, there are more interesting things to think about. My grandfather had a 1930 AA, a Standard Oil truck, then a farm truck. When he got it, a homemade wicker coffee table was set above the bed from an old car frame. My grandfather bought it while working, but the owner insisted on keeping the front axle for a trailer. Grandpa installed a front axle from a car - he gave it a cool looking rake. He used it occasionally for a while, then let it dry. But someone stole the carbs from him. I thought it would make a good candidate for a vintage. I converted it to a 4X4 but then the truck disappeared after it passed as I had nowhere to put it. It's good to see an AA hung around long enough to probably be renewed at least a second time.
