I feel so sad for the car. This may caused by Japan Sea effect snow.

The Siberian Wave is blowing to the southeast only, passing the warmer and moist air from Japan Sea, and the west side of Japan lies on the southeast of Japan Sea (Hokkaido island has a large strait that has warm and moist air).

While the other countries near Japan Sea like both of Korea and China, lies on the left side of Japan Sea.

That's why Hokkaido island and the west side of Japan is very snowy during winter.
