Presumably the raw energy source that would've been used to create the fuel that would've in turn been used to power the (electric) truck (had it been diesel), was instead used to generate the electricity required to power the electric truck One understood the generation of electricity to be fairly inefficient (something like a 60-65% overall loss). Furthermore, the embodied energy that would accompany the required infrastructure to enable an all electric truck set up would surely not only be vast, but never economically viable
Honestly alot of the trucks on this list arent uncommon. Some yes are rare but alot like the super dump dont impress me. I work on these things and a supper dump is just another dump truck with a bigger dump bed, more axles (not axis) and a bit more power under the hood.
